ZZ Top Biography and Irving History
Formed in Houston in 1969, ZZ Top built a distinctive place in American rock with blues-based guitar, wry songwriting, and a famously recognizable style. The group's classic lineup featured Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill, and Frank Beard. Following Hill's death in 2021, touring bassist Elwood Francis joined Gibbons and Beard onstage, continuing the band's legacy.
Across more than five decades, ZZ Top has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and earned induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. Essential releases include Tres Hombres, Fandango!, and Eliminator. That 1983 album delivered signature hits including “Gimme All Your Lovin',” “Sharp Dressed Man,” and “Legs”; “La Grange” and “Tush” remain enduring favorites from the band's earlier catalog.

ZZ Top Arlington reviews
Complete Meltdown
The opening acts were all extremely funny, and the show started off with ZZ Top making quick appearances to introduce each act. He seemed happy to be there. However, once it was his turn to perform, he only said jokes for about 10 mins. He kept coming and going, and when he was on stage, he was extremely angry and hostile, trying to pick fights with numerous people, including an event coordinator who told him to get off stage because he was doing so terribly. I felt bad for ZZ Top. I don't know exactly what went wrong, but I hope he doesn't continue like this for the rest of his tour. It is not fair to his fans nor himself.
